So, do we interrogate each one to determine which is the most intelligent........or perhaps set them a test and see which one gets the most answers correct

I'm trying to figure out why these would even be necessary unless it is for recording.  Last I heard many layer drum tracks.

I thought it was a shameful outrage for their add to be claiming to be the, "first" intelligent drum replacer.
 
It may well be that it's currently the, "most" intelligent, but it seems to be suggesting that its rivals (and there are a few) we're just plain stoopid
 
Drum replacers are only useful if your drum tracks are old recordings of "real" drums in audio only format.
If they're just old projects that have an accompanying midi track then there's no need for a drum replacer.
