I think a lot of us are getting spoiled and don't really appreciate the amount of work that goes into producing an update every single month, for years! Most software programs get an update maybe every 6 months to a year.
Not only does Cakewalk give us updates every month, but they include new features along with various fixes.
Just the fixes alone is welcome, but some people get upset if there isn't a new feature every month.
There isn't a magical Sonar wizard that can zap out new features every month. You don't even have to be a programmer to understand the amount of work that's involved in just fixing bugs. And to churn out new versions every single month, frankly I find that astounding. I give the bakers my thanks and appreciation. Anyone who complains that an update is a little late, maybe you should think about getting updates just once or twice a year?!?
That should give you some perspective and maybe some appreciation to the amount of work involved.
And by no means should the bakers have to account for every minute of their day. They DO keep us informed, but not every second of every day. We don't need to know when one of them goes to the bathroom or scratches their butt!
