I wish "pop" would always sound like this  "pop" to me is like Britney crap etc - this is way cooler! Great whistle solo, too. The production sounds a bit muddy, lo-fi, but with this song, even this fits. I like this!

Nice job on this, Lee.  It's good to have fun with a song, which is what this recording conveys.  Keep em rolling.

Hey Lee
Cool tune!  I really like the raw/live sounding mix.  This really has a early R.E.M. vibe.  I think it the tone of the electric guitar and the way the drums sit in the mix.  KUDOS!

@Drumstixkev..."early REM vibe"...to me, that is seriously high praise indeed!  A seminal band for me.  THANK YOU so much for that comparison!  You rock!

Serious_Noize!
I really liked this, your vocalist reminds me of Mick Jagger from the stones had he joined the Doors rather than Jim Morrison. LOL, Sorry I know that's not a good comparative explanation, I mean that as a compliment and hope you don't take it any other way. I apologize if it sound insulting in anyway, those two singers happen to be 2 of my favorites of all time. I guess I'm trying to say very unique. Sounded great!!

@Serious _Noize   no need to apologize for a Jagger / Morrison comparison!  The vocalist is yours truly, I'm kind of a one man show, I play most of the instruments except for bass on this track, though I work with a producer who is indespensible.  Thanks for listening and the kind words, very much appreciated!

I love this one! The vocals (and whistling) are great but the instrumentation is absoflippinlutely terrific.  It reminds me of some of the wonderful local garage bands that used to play around the Tampa Bay area in the 1960's and also of some of the new wave/punk bands that used to play at the Buffalo Roadhouse (Tampa) in the late '70's.
Great stuff.
