Bought! Hahaha! I've been trying to slim down my little drum collection, and....right off the wagon I fall.

This is a nice sounding EZX. Although I've clearly got a Drum expansion addiction. I bought it for a little over $53 at Time and Space.

Clint, $13.00 is not in anyway too much to get it now and not wait at least 8 months for it to go on sale. I understand your drum fixation, I am a sucker myself. And this does sound good and it is not just another middle of the road, vanilla drum expansion pk. That's $40 for the drums and $13 for the included midi. I am such a sucker for the low tuned, Indie drums. With mallets.

Yeah, You can't complain about Toontracks prices.I'm really liking this new one and like I said before, I'm glad the midi is unique. With EZD2 it's so easy to make my own grooves...I like the originality of the included midi.
I wish they would make a 'Dry-Room' EZX. Just some nice drums in a nice room with some great mics...Let me do the processing.

I also liked the fact that it's used for slow, dark almost frozen tracks which mirror the living conditions and scenery in Iceland.

That and it was recorded in a swimming pool.

When I saw  "Out of Iceland" on the title of the email my first thought was "Is there a market for Sigur Rós drums?"  I guess so.

For anyone who is curious about Post Rock, start a station on Pandora and seed it with Sigur Rós, Explosions in the Sky, and Seven Percent Solution.  (You might end up getting some minimalist composers such as Glass/Reich/Adams etc.)
