Reminds me of Thirty Seconds To Mars at their very beginning (instrumentally). They were much better back then :) !

I never heard of Thirty Seconds To Mars. I'll have to check them out!

I understand the ying and the yang of that low-fi effect. But it made it difficult for me to understand the vocals. Not sure how adjustable it is. Good song and solid performances.

Thanks for the listen and the feedback Robbie. You're absolutely right about that effect. It is adjustable. I meant to change it before mixdown, but I forgot! :-) Thanks for the reminder, and thanks again for the listen!

Great job on this!  Nice production effort.  I love the mix.  Guitars tones are stellar.  Drums are great!

i hear King's X and zakk wylde influences...

it's a cool song...
the opening verse, with the foghorn-voice...
it'd be nice to hear a clean vocal track mixed in underneath the effected voice, because the lyric is too hard to make out most of the time..
and a clean vocal track would allow the listener to easily understand the words, without taking away from the spooky effect...

you've got some pitch problems with some of the 'bridge' vocals, example at 2:50 and 3:00....
i like the idea of 'laying' it out there, but i'd re-track those vox, until you nail those pitches, it would be so much better and intense.
don't pitch correct it, just keep singing it til you nail it.
dig that guitar solo... it's just twisted.

cool breakdown at the ending...

Nice job. Only nit would be that there is some nagging upper frequency to the flanged voc in the beginning that sort of tears at the ears. Might be that it is just competing with the guitar.

Great Tune enjoyed the mix power and balance agree with robby on the lo-fi effect on the vox though.

Excellent work/production/performances... vocals sound a little overprocessed for my taste...

I would also like to welcome you, your music & feedback to the Songs Forum...

Nicely done. I like how you started this out with the treble sound and lead into the thicker parts. Great sound. 60's meets the 80's, wild meets the very wild in the dark. Very creative. Welcome aboard.

Peace and Blessings, John
