I'm trying to make some comping with 6 track at once. Is there a way to turn off this, I don't know how to name it properly, graphic preview of the track. It's very confusing for me, I'm loosing my mind, I don't know what is clip, what is preview. Sometimes it's a usefull feature but I don't want to jump to sonar x1 and back to Pro, when I do that kind of job. Thank You for Your time.

You don't have to look at all the take lanes while you are recording the tracks that will be comped. They can be viewed/not viewed by clicking the take lanes button, right next to the automation button.

Thank You Steve for Your reply. I know how to turn off the take lane view. But I don't want to see this graphic representation of the sum of the clips on take lanes which is generated above them. It confuses me when I have to move for example 6 clips ( on different tracks ) at the time. Maybe it's possible to work with it in old style?

There is no way that I know of to turn the tracks waveform view off while working with take lanes, if that is what you are asking. However, you can make the tracks smaller and that reduces/minimizes the amount of space they take up.

Couldn't you just scroll up until the track representation at the top is off screen and all you see are the take lanes?

It's not that easy when I have multiple tracks ( drums etc ). Looks like I need to figure out new workflow. Thank You Guys.

Yeah, I've been asking for some method of dealing with this since it's inception. For my needs it simply confuses what I'm looking at most of the time.
 
I would also prefer a simple toggle for turning that image on/off as desired, but even some system of making it 'very' obvious which are simply gfx and which are the actual clips...
