Remember when she was asking him questions and telling him if he was lying or not? I believe that was important to how this movie ended.

I bought Ex Machina yesterday. £15 from asda, which is basically full whack for a bluray.
 
I basically go and buy any AI shizzle and have been a fan of this genre since the almighty Bladerunner.
 
Ex Machina did not disappoint. For a so called "low budget" movie, I thought that the portrayal of Ava was effing fantastic.
 
Besides that, I thought the story was good, and the acting, and hence direction was good too. With just three main characters and a couple of support peeps, this movie kept me hooked to the end.
 
Simply a good, if not fantastic movie...

It's the best Sci Fi movie I've seen in several years.

What about Interstellar?
 
It's a long drawn out film, but on the whole, I enjoyed it 
 
Mad Max: Fury Road was most enjoyable (so long as you like a two hour long car chase...)
 
I also recently enjoyed Predestination too... An excellent movie IMO...

I own Interstellar and love it. Predestination I'll have to look into.

It's an excellent trippy little movie. I guess I should give a nudity warning, because it has head to toe nudity. I could have done without that myself, not that I was offended...I just find it to be a little lazy and unnecessary. Very, very cool idea for a movie. I'm still thinking about it a week later. That doesn't happen often anymore. I give it a 8 out of 10. Here's the trailer...

the nudity is nothing- robot nudity, like mannequins or barbie dolls-
you have to watch it twice

notice how from the start she used her robot sexuality to solve the maze ?
it made me reassess my opinion on the possibility of ai as virtually nil
 
 
 

The nudity didn't bother me, the warning was a courtesy to others with children.
 
The movie was excellent.
