I'm just amazed that so many software compressors can survive in such a crowded marketplace. It's not like they're all that different from one another.
That's because they are the magic elixir that everybody thinks they need.
Always looking for the elusive compressor that adds that magic pop, glue, softening, etc.
A marketing guy's dream-come-true.
I really expected some push-back from my statement that "it's not like they're all that different", but nobody took the bait. Just Mike's response, and that was to agree with me.
Imagine what would happen if I made such a claim on KVR...
