I'm using the PC4K Exp/Gate to solve a rattly snare.
 
Makes me happy. I almost never need a gate, but there you go.
 
Joy blossoms as the gate bounces the bad vibe from the room.

Tangentially the gate on the Kemper Profiler is without peer. I wish it was a separate vst I could use on anything.
