As you may or may not know, slide guitar pretty much sets my teeth on edge. However, out of respect for your talents, I took a listen. Remarkably my head did not explode . You would seem to be a natural. I thought it was smokin hot myself.

Mark, I totally agree with the Band19's comments.  It's a great tune, you played the slide well, and the tone is KILLER!  But it is missing "glue" and a smidge of timing.  Maybe it's the bass voice... I don't know... it sounds a little loose.  Work on tightening up those drums and glue that bass into them...   :-)

Mark, loved it... nothing beats a good old 1-4-5 prog for a nice blues jam.

Aaah, the Blues.  Yes indeed, you are a slide player now.  Even your slide playing has that wonderful "CLEAN" phrasing.  It has that old style feel and the rhythm (to me the most important part of the old style blues) carries it along nicely.

You know even as a former pedal steel player I never was comfortable with slide guitar.  Great first effort, or even 10th effort.  Sounds very good. Nice clean slides!  So  I guess you are a slide player now!
