I like the way you write.  The mix sounds pretty good.
 
On this speaker system.... cheap computer rig... I don't hear much bass and punch but that could be from the speakers.... The bass does sound sort of non-distinct compared to other mixes.

Thanks to everyone with constructive suggestions. Much obliged. My final mix. Cleaned up the lows and high as best as I could. Any last feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Nice song! I'm hoping that it is Soundcloud's crappy mp3 conversion, but the mix was a little undefined. Everything sounded mashed together and the low end has no energy. I think your bass sounds great, but I'd suggest bringing the kick up to add some beef to the beat. Also, I would suggest spreading your instruments left/right to leave more room in the center for the vocals. All in all, this is a song worth polishing!

I agree with Dan that everything seems really bunched in the middle.  The song warrants a remix.  Try to place your instruments like they were on stage to give us space and width to the sound.  Nice vocal.

I'm curious what you are hearing that needs to be fixed.  I may already have alternate plugs.

Very nice song and instrumentation, but it sounds like everything is sharing the same space with little separation. Also, it is very hard to hear any bass and the mix sounds kind of tinny. All of these things can be fixed if you have all of the original tracks. You just have to take each track and rearrange the panning for each track so that each track is panned in or out to different locations, so when you put it all together and play it you can hear definite separation of each instrument and the vocals should always be up front and the most profound part of the piece (song). Other than that, you have a really good song going here.
