Thank you James. The acoustic was recorded with a Zoom acoustic hardware processor, through a Fishman amp. The Electric lead is a Fender Strat, through a hardware ART processor, about 25 years old with a short in it, straight in bass, and keys set similar to a Hammond B3 growl.
The mix is fairly poor quality, I agree. I am in a learning curve mixing. There is so much to know about it. The lead track was recorded on Sonar 3 and the mix was done on Sonar 7. We just got X2 and some new hardware, like the POD HD500, so our newer tunes should be better quality. I listen to some mixes here and they blow me away. All our stuff we write, and arranged, mixed etc...none is a professional mix. I can not compete with professional loop recordings. All our stuff is live, jamming.
Gentel Strength and Take A Second Look is a couple of the newer mixes.
Skies Rim got a lot of attention. I wrote it in a couple of days, and in a few weeks we completed the arrangement. One of the original members of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Benjamin Schultz", commented on the tune.
