Can't really afford it, and I never thought I'd pay $150 (!) to see a tribute band, but it's a birthday present for my daughter. At least, that's how I justified it.

Some of them (tribute bands) are great (even Yes now fully qualifies as one). 
 
But, I saw a lousy Floyd tribute band recently. Fortunately, the tix were free (a gift).

As it happens I saw a Floyd tribute last night as well. "The Darkside of Pink Floyd" not too shabby an no entry fee as it was part of a rally. The problem was the audience was there for the rally and the majority "don't give a damn about any guitar playing band, it ain't what they call EDM." Or something like that.

Last night I saw Dark Star Orchestra doing a Jerry's BDay show.
 
It was a ton of fun.
