December 18th to May 7th... I think that speaks for itself? And it speaks volumes for the person who bumped it... 

I think Janet and Jimmy (may he rest in peace.) Is one of the best songs on the forum ever? (IMO) Maybe some think this tune from 6 months ago is one of the best songs ever? I didn't listen to it, but I'm sure it's good? I'm sure some may think this is even better than Jimmy's last song with Janet before he passed.

I doubt Mooch will listen? Or ever did? Or ever will? I know he enjoys poking fun as do I, but I'm not judging? It's more of an observation. In fact, I checked "on the five pages" listed on the thread and found a comment by this poster nowhere? I'm sure he meant to comment and was simply too busy. 

Again, not judging? I'm sure he (Mooch) just has a busy schedule...  Jimmy has no schedule? He's passed... He was a great musician though.

In fact, the Moocher inspired me to bump Janet's most excellent song, with Jimmy (may he rest in peace) singing on it, so thank you. I do not expect an appropriate response. 

So now that the Moocher realized that hie missed arguably a thread on which someone recently died, surely he has the kooth to go back, listen, comment and pay his respects? Surely Mooch wouldn't be someone who would disrespect the death of a fellow forum member? Would he?

It's easy to find, just search "Born to Fly" you can find it very easily if one choose to do so.

Haha thanks Paul! Ah I do a lot more talking on here than showing what I can do. I mostly keep the stuff I do to myself, so it will be rare you ever see me post anything. Philip wrote this and I sort of altered it and gave him my version of what I thought would sound cool. I had a blast doing this song and never expected Philip to post it honestly. Thanks again bro.
 
The Band: With all due respect, this song as well as the people that post in this forum are not in any competition with each other as far as I know. I personally could care less who has the best song on the forum to be honest. Why that seems to be important enough for you to post a link to another song in our thread here is beyond me. 
 
I think that was a pretty crappy thing to do. I don't remember Philip or myself ever coming into one of your song threads where you've been praised where we tried to sell people on another song that may be better than yours, do you? I don't recall us coming into one of your song threads being inconsiderate enough to post a link to a possibly better song, do you? Why do it to us? Why not allow Philip and I to enjoy the comments we've received? I don't get it. What have we ever done to you?
 
I didn't know Jimmy and I'm sure he was a great musician, had a great song and I'm sorry about his passing. But his song has nothing to do with this thread. I'm pretty surprised at your actions here....totally uncalled for.

I am sorry about Jimmy. I didn't read about Jimmy. I am sorry he is no longer with us. I also didn't know him or do i really know who you are talking about.

This is what I did. I searched the Internet for Danny's Danzi becuase I wanted to hear how he sounded. A few things came up including this song on this thread (sorry Danny i just wanted to hear your stuff  i searched) 




I Click the link and listened to the song. Then posted my comment on what I thought of Danny's song. I didnt read all here pages of this thread and I don't know who the person is you're talking about but I a sorry he has passed. 


My mom has passed, my cousin commited suicide, early onset Alzheimer's runs in my family and many relatives of mine in their 50s have died from it. But you don't see me throwing that in the middle of someone's thread. Until now. Hey why not you did.

either way, excellent song!

arrangments, vocals, performances, lyrics, the whole package.

this does have a dated feel to it, it's a classic rock ballad, 80's style.
but i hear a lot of other influences in it..

and strangely enough, i hear something that reminds me of Kansas, circa Leftovertures.....
and maybe a bit of Europe... 
and some christian rock arrangments...


really nice mix.
