no, they weren't the greatest band ever and they never recorded at those frequencies. I drank with the roadie and he said "impossible." so I don't know what you're talking about.

how's that?

still missing it?

Yep...when everyone kept it fun and light.

When it got ugly, it got ugly though.

It helped keep OT stuff out of this forum, too.

The coffee house was a seperate forum for Cakewalk customers to talk freely about whatever they wanted to, ie...religion, politics, music, whatever. It was sometimes very contentious but also very interesting. When they got rid of it my post count went way down. That's where I spent most of my forum time and interacted with others the most. Anyway, I guess I waste less time now. Since I don't often have Sonar related questions, and I don't often have answers to the questions of others, I don't post much.

I don't! I frequent the "original crispy flavor" coffeehouse ever single day!!!

It's in NNTP land at cakewalk.coffeehouse right across the hall from cakewalk.audio

Both available through the totally free NNTP server,

Nope, I don't miss it, but that was the best way to get over 500 posts to go Silver in one day.

While some of the later posts disagree, I thought it was fun while it lasted. There were clearly a couple of trolls who just wanted to bring it down and they did. It was fun (for me) talking with musicians about generic topics. I have (IMHO) noted that other music forums that have a "coffeehouse" kind of vibe really need to be policed well.... Cake wasn't willing to do that and it became very ugly. Oh well, guess I stick to the even uglier Philadelphia Eagles Forum....otherwise known as TATE (Talk About the Eagles!!) Man, talk about bitter and hostile!! (even when they win )
