Had a few extra credits so I pre-ordered the package through the Custom Shop. I really like the Custom Shop, it's almost like going to an actual Music Store except it is a lot quieter. :)

It's like going to a music store to try out the gear, but you only have your own playing to listen to :)  I think we're both saying the same thing nicely, eh.

And the strings are not covered with a sticky substance you don't want to be identified.

Edit:  and I can't stand coated strings - even intentionally coated as is the rage these days - anyway, especially when it is "organic".  Eww.

Well as my grandpappy used to say "hope in one hand, crap in the other - see which fills up first".  And that might be a bit more accurate what is on the hands that touched those grungy strings before you.  *gag*
