I am stumped.... I want to upload audio files to a net collaboration site. Can this be done in Platinum and if so how? Thanks

What does SONAR have to do with that? Most (or all) of the cloud and music sharing sites are accessed via web browser.

Also, you need to provide more info to get a good answer.

Two questions:

1) By audio files, do you mean just a rendered WAV (or other format) file of a complete song or all of the audio files associated with the project?

2) By net collaboration site, do you mean a simple cloud account that you can upload to and make your files available to others, or to something like Soundcloud, or what?

3) Online interactive jamming?

Hi,

4) A bit more music knowledge other than just play with your ... errrrrrr .... keyboard?

Hey, bapu, are you familiar with JamKazam.com? It works.

Check out this JamKazam-captured mix of a 55 minute online improv jam, with the bassist in Baltimore, the guitarist in San Francisco and the drummer in Vancouver, BC.

Use of JK is free. They will be adding some revenue options. The first is backing tracks of popular songs that they've paid top cover bands to produce that are mutable by instrument. Por ejemplo.

Interesting.

I was, however, adding to the possible choices the OP did not tell us he wanted.

I have individual tracks in Sonar platinum that I want to upload to Kompoz. I played all the instruments for the idea but want others to re record their tracks from my ideas. Most songs have 4-8 tracks. In a cakewalk project are they stored as audio files that can be individually uploaded? What is the best way to share files of tracks back and forth?

From within SONAR export your individual tracks (as either stereo if necessary or mono) as .wav files (at least 16/44.1). Send those files to Kompoz.

Tell the others what the tempo map and time signature is.

They should be able to import those tracks to their DAW.

When they are done they should export their work to you in the same way.

Don't fret too much if they send 24/48 files as SONOR will convert on import to the project's format.
