Since Cakewalk switched to a subscription-based ever-updating Sonar, I understand feature requests from users are more likely to see the light of day more quickly. So where is it I'm supposed to put these feature requests? The answer to that really ought to be a sticky thread in this forum, I think.

My feature requests is for a Go To Clock Time feature. The erroneously-named Go To Time doesn't go to time at all, but goes to measure. As far as I can tell, there's no way to actually Go To Time. I can see this being really valuable when working on a piece that will sync with video at some point, or in my case, I will review a version of a piece away from the computer, listening on my phone on the bus, for example, and jot notes for changes with clock time to mark where the changes are to be.

Try this... choose Edit > Preferences. Choose the Customization - Display category. Put a check mark next to the option entitled Display All Times as SMPTE. Click OK. Now when you access the Go dialog, it should display time instead of measures.

Sonar is not on a subscription model.

You could try going to the Features and Ideas forum

That information and more is in a sticky thread Cakewalk Products Handbook.

There's also a special forum called the Bakery where feature requests can be discussed and voted on. See line above.

I think you have to go to the Bakery.  Link is here.

Scott's method above works. The feature is not "erroneously-named" - it is using the time format that you have identified in your preferences. It will give you what you want if you change the time format to smpte. I use two rulers (MBT and H:M:S) so I agree with you in the sense that it would be nice to have the option to choose which format you want to use to enter the time in the Go to time menu box.
There may be a way to bind a shortcut to the time format to avoid the edit/preferences/customization/display/display all times as smpte selection(?)
As Dave identifies - you have to navigate the Bakery for feature requests. (Good luck).
