Help!
I cannot open Platinum all of a sudden. I get an error code that says "SONARPLT.exe - bad image C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\SONAR Platinum\DSCConvert.dll is either not designated to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original media or contact your system administrator or the soft ware vendor for support. Error status 0xc0000020. "
I get the same error code when trying to launch in the Command Center.
Any suggestions?

Sounds like a possible graphics card error.
What kind of Graphics are you using and when was the last time you updated your drivers (onboard or card) ?

Also did this happen after a Sonar update ?

Solved!
In Command Center I rolled back to a previous version, which launched successfully, then i updated to the latest version, which is acting normally.
Panic is over- back to work...
Thanks for your views, and being there, at least!

Just re edited my first post and was going to ask if this happened after an update of sonar.
sometimes a download can be corrupt and takes a second download/install to fix.
if it happens again, try re downloading again. but this error can also happen because of video card drivers behind on updates.

Chuckebaby- thanks for your reply, which i didn't see before my last post.
Graphics - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650, drivers are up to date.
If i have a re-occurence I will go there first...
Thanks again
