Hi Herb - What a great song. Had me in tears so I am sure your Daughter made the right decision. Huge amount of love in this song and your children are very lucky to have you as their Dad.

(Sorry Herb, but I hope you will excuse me making a second comment after I read Scotty's advice to his co-worker - Oh what a wise man Scotty is! His comment had me in tears of laughter! I wish he had have been around to advise me when I got married!).

Thanks Malcolmb. This was a hard song for me to write...powerful and filled with emotion.

I'm glad you enjoyed it.

The mix sounds great Herb. And that Mando in a box? Priceless... Marriage is such a crap shoot these days :-( I really hope it works out for them. This felt a little like my favorite from you (Fall down on your knees?)

Congratulations Herb on your 30th wedding anniversary - Kim and I celebrated our 30th March 6 of this year.

Love this tune - good old country - fiddles, mandelins (sp?) - slide - a really cool tune. You just keep putting out some of the best music.

Love it.

Herb,  Nice job here.  The songs that mean the most to us and come from the heart always come out the best.  You have a very "Willie Nelson" type delivery on this one.  I like it a lot.

Robby: that's not a mando in a box.... dude, I'm learning to play it for real. It's such a fun and beautiful sounding instrument.

Tim: thanks.... it's down to single digits now....

Mark: My wife's name is Kim, looking back at the 30 years..... wow, great times.

ChuckC: glad you like it. Thank you for listening.

Good lyric and tune. I listened to this, two times. I  thought the vocals had a bit to much reverb. You do have something good here, good production!!!

None of my daughters are married yet. Lovely tune. Mix and production top notch. I especially like the pedal steel and the mandoline they go so well together. Very enjoyable listen.
