Hi everybody.  After being away, and in a dark place for a while (why do I let a woman do that to me?), I'm happy to enlist your comments on my latest recording effort-  "Smokin' Waters".  Yes, it's a version of Deep Purple's "Smoke On The Water" (calm down guitarists...), but I'm sure it's different than anything you've heard before.  Lots of ear candy in this one so use phones if you like.

It's all done in Sonar X2.  I used some of the loops from the CW giveaway (Loopmasters 100 Artist Sampler) in this tune, and it's about 40% loops and the rest I played.  I had a lot of fun trying out the new NI Evolve Mutations 2 (my drum solo at the Intro), as well as using FM8, Massive, Battery 4 (great product), Z3ta 2, and my Motif XF7.  All F/X come from the Pro-Channel (extensive use).  The live guitar is processed with Guitar Rig 5.

I really hope you enjoy it.  I did!

Tabasco, like your handle, this was Caliente (I know it's not Tabasco, but it's close.) Interesting spin-off on a classic Deep Purple tune (at least in places?) Then in one part it felt like the Macarena? Pretty cool.

Not the kind of stuff I particularly like - but this is interesting.

LOL.... I'm 58 years old, and I don't know what genre to call my music, but this tune exemplifies what I like to create....GUITARS and GROOVES!!

Thanks for the comments guys.  MIKE-- Wow good, or Wow bad???  LOL
