THe 24 hour thing is how often it does a rescan for new updates. It won't install anything without your input.
 
verbose should tell you everything it's doing.

How do you get the download? My CCC just says downloading but the percentage meter just says 0! Also it says I am not logged in. I got the new version of Platinum and Kick Start but can not get the new version of CCC! Whazzup?

An alternate method to download the C3 is from this page https://www.cakewalk.com/Command-Center and run the installer manually. Install it on top of the old version. 

Mine acted the same way, just sat there at 0% download and not logged in. I just left it alone for about 10 minutes and it downloaded and installed. Just very slow i guess      Dan

Tip. After you install double check your file path settings to make sure it is correct . Ta.

The new Dimension Pro installer is wacked if you're not installing in the default location.
Won't let you specify where the Multisamples are stored - tries to outsmart you and screws it up royal.
Won't let put it in ...\DimensionProData\Multisamples
insists on either ...\DimensionProDataMultisamples 
or ...\DimensionProData\MultisamplesMultisamples
Should have skipped this update.

Thanks for the alert on DimPro update. It scared me when I read that the new CCC was updating DimPro and I had a scary time hacking the registry to get a DimPro installation ironed out. I am not touching AD2, Melodyne, Rapture or DimPro unless absolutely necessary!
