Look, we are all imaginary people here. Not in the ultimate sense that our perception of ourselves exists only in our own imaginations in a world of illusion, but just in the ordinary sense that the persona you can intuit from the words you see here is accidentally and deliberately false. I, for example, have chosen to present the person of an aging, self absorbed retired professional with an overbearing style punctuated by discontiguous flashes of quirky humor.
