OK. You all recommended I upgrade from X3 to Professional so I did.

So far, the only problem I have is Sonar Professional doesn't recognized one of my keyboards. When I open Sonar X3 it and all keyboards (all M-Audio) are recognized. I checked the the MIDI settings and all seems normal.

Suggestions?

What are your keyboards?
Which one is not recognized?
How are the ones that show up in SONAR labeled?
How are the keyboards connected to the computer?
Do the keyboards all show up as working in the Windows device manager?
Does changing the USB socket (if applicable) change which keyboard(s) are recognized?
Does power cycling the computer with the keyboards attached and powered on change anything?

+1 this question is like a needle in a hay stack.
what device, does it take drivers, plug and play ?
The more info you leave the faster your issue will be solved.

Did you carry over your setting from X3 to Sonar Professional? They should have the same list of supported keyboards.

find "%APPDATA%\Cakewalk\Sonar Professional" and delete TTSSEQ.ini from there. Sonar will re-create it and you have to re-enable all midi devices. Some users have got it solved that way in recent Sonar versions.
Note that this file is different for X3 and Professional, that is why one can work and other not.

The keyboards (behind me) are M-Audio (l-r) Oxygen 49 (Blue), Oxygen 8, and Oxygen 49 (New) all connected via USB.
Checked the Windows control Panel and all looks fine there.

Originally the Oxy Blue was not recognized but the other two were. I disconnected and reconnected and now the Oxy 8 is now unrecognized.
All the while, MIDI Ox has recognized all three. Sonar X3 has seen them all, too. Only Sonar Professional fails to see all three. (The Trigger Finger is not presently connected. I have a Korg Nano Pad connected and it works also.)

Thank you, azslow3. I will try that.

Are the two Oxygen 49s identical? There is a recent thread by Bob Bone about identical controllers not being usable. Is one of those two the culprit in the OP?

mettelus - I actually did have this problem when I first bought my newest version of the Oxygen 49. It didn't require (nor have) a driver. Fortunately the older Oxygen 49 (Blue) actually had a driver so I was able to fool my system into allowing both Oxy49s to be used. John
