Depends on the clip and the Always Import Broadcast Waves at Their Timestamp setting. If the clips are broadcast waves the import setting matters. See http://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=SONAR&language=3&help=0x22B09
I have never experienced this when dropping audio into my projects.
This would have helped me out a lot a little while back when i transferred a project to a new one.
This is also SUPER beneficial for users who save track templates that have audio or midi data to recall with that track template.
Example 1 Audio : You can save your "Favorite" Audio track template , export the Audio as broadcast Wave ( save it in the same location as your "favorite " Audio track template and recall both very fast.
Example 2 Midi : You can save your "Favorite" Synth/Midi track template, highlight the midi clip then save as "Midi Format 0" for just notes or "Midi Format 1" to include CC information , also save it in the same location as the "favorite" Synth/Midi track template and again recall both very very fast. ( Note: When saving CC data to midi format 1, after importing you need to Convert midi controllers to envelopes, but it allows you to choose the Value and works perfectly for converting multiple CC stored in the Midi Format 1 save) > Brilliant!
Thanks Scook a few things came together for me with this post .
