This is an outstanding piece of work, John.  I want to hear more.  Your arrangement skills are top notch and inspiring.

You're certainly brimming with ideas as this track demonstrates, and your production skills are first class.   I would have preferred to hear one of the ideas expanded into a more cohesive single track to be honest, but that's probably not what you were aiming for.

blip, Thanks for listening and for the nice compliments. I don't think a single cohesive track is in my mind. I kind of like to make things a bit epic as much as possible, then hopefully the piece will be remembered. Some day maybe a movie producer will have me do something for a real movie. That would be kool.

I was wondering if all the samples flow together smoothly in this piece? Do all of the different beats overlap and flow together right? I used a long reverb to make sure the samples flowed right into the next sample and wondering if anyone can find anything that doesn't fit in right and if so where in the time line? Thanks for taking a second listen in advance.

I don't do well at dawn :-( Not really a morning person? 

I didn't get the transitions, i.e., 54 seconds, 1:18, 1:49, etc... it seems like it's a song that got hit on the head and is transitioning from one memory/personality to another. It seems to jump too quickly and too dramatically to me. 

What it needs is to continue coherently on one of these good themes, then a break/chorus, and some meaningful words that talk about the creation (IMO).

Robbie, Sorry you don't do dawn well and are not a morning person. It is the best part of my day, every day. As for the transitions I'll have to adjust the long reverb - longer and that will take care of the problem. As to what you would do sounds like a good thing. Maybe on a future piece I will try your ideas. Sorry the piece didn't work for you. It did however seem to work for others, based on what they had to say. Guess we can't please all the people all the time, although that would be nice. Thanks for the listen and for your comments, they are always appreciated.
