Loved the C64, hardware sprites! Silky smooth hardware scrolling! SID!
 
You could also plug in a rom cartridge, I remember Simon's Basic and also a cartridge to help you cheat at games :)

I don't remember SCRATCH... I did some "basic" programming (flange stress calculator) on my C64 and that ported straight onto the PET at work, so that was nice...




How you could not remember, that if you typed SCRATCH "MY BALLS", it would respond with "DEVICE NOT PRESENT ERROR"?
