I've been using the BETA drivers for about a week and to be honest... they suck.
I'm angry because this sample rate issue has been going on for a LONG time - it's not apparent in Sonar but it is in another well known DAW. Focusrite has really dropped the ball. Way too little too late. I won't be purchasing their products even again.

They are way too  slow to update drivers...that is for sure...

Roland was the same way...always way late to the party...

Pet Peeve...these companies rest or their laurels too much....and get away with it...

A bit harsh considering windows 10 hasn't even been released yet and these are beta drivers. And the win 8.1 driver works doesn't it? Traditionally they take about 3 months after release of an OS to get a final driver out.

Personally I wouldn't even consider installing an OS until I knew drivers were generally available for my hardware, and I would wait at least six months after release before I threw a new OS at my DAW environment... Each to their own I guess..

I have a wicked new gaming computer going to use as a secondary mixing mastering station.  Looking at Forte. Using platinum by the way.  It is running windows 10 , also there seems to be a little sentiment found on the web about latency. I use RME mulitface 2 on big studio rig, will be saving to one drive so I can mix while studio is in use. anyway. might do a little sm7b vocal dubbing and definitely some guitar direct recording and direct monitoring or low latency input echo is important.  The big monitor volume feature removes the need for a monitor management system for me, and I love the small footprint.  I would want the extra dynamic range so may have to bite the bullet and use the AC adapter. (puke).   so I have a few basic questions for you forte users.

a few large online music stores are not carrying it anymore? did it not sell, is it going out, if so why?

is latency an issue?  my sonar projects are large and the new cpu should be able to eat up most problems

its been several years are they coming out with a forte 2 next week?

Any thoughts are appreciated.

My projects aren't really large, so latency has not been an issue for me
using my Forte and Win 10 with the current driver...as I stated before,
the Beta gave me a butt load of static...so that went bye bye...
