Not sure what this means..

'The design of the mixer is not fully responsive'
'No plug-in combinations'.

Sounds like a "lack of understanding" to me...

Well if the mixer was not "fully responsive" I'm not sure I would like that. I have asked it many things in the past, like to please make the tea, and sexual favors... And it never said a word back to me damnit. So maybe he has a point...

Also with plugin combinations? Well I cut a Rapture DLL file in half the other day, and did the same with Dimension Pro DLL.... I joined them together and nothing happened...

Alex,

Responsive design is a UI design pattern term. It is usually used for web design. With web design, responsive means as you resize the window, elements on the page will resize and flow to be maximally effective given the available real estate.

In this article, I believe the are talking about the lack of freedom to resize faders etc.

Which is something I'd love to see. One of my biggest complaints of the X series vs the earlier ones was how much larger the channel strips got. I have a higher rez monitor now so it matters much less, but it initially annoyed me. Would be really nice to see something where you could just arbitrarily scale them to your heart's content.

FLStudio 12 has a pretty nifty looking mixer that does stuff like that. Hopefully Sonar steals it some day :)

Well I am a web developer never even considered that. Maybe you are right... What about 'no plug in combinations'?

Yes it did . . . Rapture Pro . . . although your way might work better

I think that might be similar to how Rapture Pro came to be . . .

[Edited for comic value . . . or not]

It's been a great value as an upgrade license, also when they added the AD2 package.
