So i just recorded a little progression to a drum beat and i have them both perfect, they're on 2 separate tracks though, how can i combine the both of them so they are one single clip ?
I can then use that through my project a lot easier for me. it's kind of like a jingle type thing haha. but yeah, i would like to combine these two tracks and make them a single track, its only about 7 seconds long.

Many thanks

It's called "bounce to track".

Just drag the 2nd clip to the 1st one and line it up where you want it. Click on the track number until it highlights both clips (or drag the mouse over both clips so they're highlighted) and Bounce to track.

The advice above is correct.  My opinion is that you might be happier NOT combining the tracks until you see how the rest of the arrangement turns out: you may want a different balance.

You know best.  It's just a thought.

If so then just split 'em in two again. Or copy said 2nd clip and drag it to the other clip & mute the original until happy with it. Many ways to skin cat here.

At this stage, I think it would be nice to know what sort of material we're dealing with.

Is this all Midi, all Audio or both?
What do the recordings you want to merge consist of?

Either way, I think, the general affects and solutions are the same.
