Don't know if I should post this here or on the TH3 Website, but I enjoyed the stripped-down version of TH3 so much that I updated to the full-blown version. Is there an easy way to transfer the presets from the Cakewalk edition into the full version?

I haven't installed/loaded up the Sonar edition of TH3 (I own the full version of TH2) but I'm guessing, based on TH2 Producer's presets, that TH3 will have those banks included.
 
If not then you could (likely) just use the bank/preset export option to create the appropriate files and then import them into the full version.
 
As noted I have not yet used TH3 but from what I've seen they have actually improved their preset system so I can't see how that would not be possible considering TH2 is capable of such things.

TH3 Cakewalk contains the full version of TH3. To activate it:

• Click the Settings button at the top of TH3 Cakewalk
• Click the "Authorize with Serial Number"
• Complete the authentication dialog.

 

Oh... and in case it wasn't apparent the documentation will of course have instructions for preset management and import/export options BUT Overloud has always been pretty good with posting youtube walkthroughs of such things.
 
It was generally done by that french fellow in the case of the official OL TH2 vids. Not sure if he's still doing them but either way... I'm sure some googly moogling when get ya sorted right quick.

Thanks all for your replies. I think I downloaded and installed a new version of TH3 in place of the Cakewalk edition. Oy.

The presets I created in TH3 CW remained after upgrade to TH3 full and were available there. You should be fine.

Ahh, they're still there -- just buried among all the folders with new presets. I don't have to reconstruct the modeling I've previously done (but haven't yet committed to an audio file) with the Cakewalk sampler version.
