Now I Can't...am I pressing the wrong key or has the feature left the building?

Hold ctrl+shift while dragging the clip end. I think this changed so you wouldn't need to remember different shortcuts for SONAR and Melodyne, but don't quote me on that.

Hi. If on X3, Ctrl+drag should work.
Have you tried to bounce the clip to itself, before stretching?
All the best.

As Craig says, on the newest versions of SONAR, this changed to Ctrl+Shift+drag some time ago.

Only works on regular audio clips otherwise, you will need to bounce the clip first

ok I should have said X3 but switching key commands from version to version seems uncool...

Thank you Scook, Zarg & Sir Anderton. -S

Incidentally, I have fixed a number of small problems with this, like stretching a vocalist's note a little so it starts on time without ending too soon.  It is amazing that this sounds as natural as it does.

I normally fix stuff like this in Melodyne, but sometimes I notice something after I have already finished in Melodyne and bounced the clip--and this trick is mighty handy.
