Hi Doktor:
I saw you post earlier about using an ISO and running it inside the qualifying OS and selecting the fresh install option.
I was posting the requirements I saw listed on a Microsoft site. And see the warning at the top of this site at the following link:
http://answers.microsoft....481c-a02d-dadf465df326 WARNING: Do not use the Windows 10 ISO to format your PC. Upgrade first from an activated Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, ensure the Windows 10 installation is activated, then you can perform a clean install. Using the method that the warning advises against is what a clean install is. Doing as you say about running the ISO in a qualifying OS and selecting the fresh install option is not a clean install. That is still an in place install. :) Doing the install that way, the installation ISO still sees it's being run from a qualifying OS. As you say, a clean install is booting from an ISO of Windows 10, selecting to format the drive Win 10 will be installed on, and installing to that formated drive.
Cya around dude.
So, if you still think what I said is not true, we'll just have to agree to disagree and carry on. :)
It's just a matter of semantics. :)
