Good article. Hope Meshex finds it. I've said for a while, if I was just starting out I would get Reaktor and Kontakt and maybe Massive and just learn them. You would never have to be out of date or out of touch.  You could make music for a hundred years  and not be irrelevant because of what you were using. I know there are a few things you could substitute, like Omnisphere, but I'm just sayin'.

I did see this thread (thx CC), but the site is blocked from my workplace (apparently, this is where I do most of my research on music work music related stuff). I'll def. check it out at home.
Yeah, I agree those Big 3 could keep anyone busy for a lifetime.......Reaktor alone would do that.
