I've been trying to install Kirnu Cream and am having a problem with it. It installed by default in the VST instrument folder. For the life of me I can't move it to the MIDI effects folder, which means I can't plug it into a MIDI track. This is not good for using an arppeggiator. I can't find help at the Kirnu website. I tried to connect a midi track to an audio track with Cream in it, and then output the Cream to yet another midi track. That doesn't work.

So, first, how do I move Cream to the MIDI effects folder in utilities, or is it supposed to be in the VST instrument folder, and if so how do you use it.
I'm running Platinum on a Win 7/64 with 16 gigs of RAM. Any help will help.

Drop Kirnu Cream into an instrument track
Make sure select "Enable MIDI Output" (this is the default)
Enable Echo On in the track
Set the input to your controller (if planning to record through Kirnu Cream)
In the target instrument or MIDI track set the input to Kirnu Cream
Enable Echo On the target track.

Does Kirnu Cream still crash if you load more than one instance in Sonar?
(that kept me from getting this......however, the free Kirnu Arp was great).

It's available for $40 at PluginBoutique. Worth it?

Might be worth to give the a Demo a shot in Logic?? (I just remember some people having issues in Sonar when loading multiple instances)

I just loaded 3 instances into Platinum. Did not crash on me.

No, Cream did not crash, but it still does not work.

Drop Kirnu Cream into an instrument track Presumably you mean an audio track, correct? Because Cream installed itself under VST instruments and it is impossible for me to put Cream in a MIDI track, just audio tracks. If this is wrong I'll need some help getting it to the correct folder.
Make sure select "Enable MIDI Output" (this is the default) If we are still talking about a MIDI output on an audio track then I haven't been able to do it. There is a drop-down box where you can identify a MIDI output, but it never stays as such. It always reverts to an audio output.
Enable Echo On in the track We're talking about the buttons that turn blue? No effect on anything
Set the input to your controller (if planning to record through Kirnu Cream) For the moment I am using a track of MIDI data. It doesn't seem to penetrate Cream in the audio track.
In the target instrument or MIDI track set the input to Kirnu Cream Cream does not show up in the list of MIDI inputs.
Enable Echo On the target track. Nothing leaves the audio track to the MIDI receiving track.
I suspect, from advice given, that Cream should not be in the VST instrument folder, it should be in a MIDI folder, like where the Cakewalk MIDI arpeggiator is. Could someone just yes or no me on this? If so, maybe a tip on how I can download Cream into the correct folder and the address of the folder.

I have tried to uninstall Cream from the VST instruments folder. I can't seem to remove it. I have tried repeatedly to just reinstall Kirnu to the shared MIDI fx folder. the installation defaults to that location but it never shows up there.
Can someone throw me a rope?
