Hi. Did you install the latest Win 1o update? If so, you might have to re install the drivers for it.
Others might know better.
All the best.

Check to see if Windows is recognizing it.  If Windows does not recognize/install it then Sonar won't either.
I've seen Windows installing mine a couple times after I powered it on.  The X-Touch is a Windows "plug and play" device.

Check the Device manager to see if its installed (and working correctly and no error code).  Mine is listed in the "Sound, Video and Game Controllers" section of the Device Manager.

Double-check your control surface MIDI assignments.  SONAR seems to scramble the control surface MIDI assignments unexpectedly sometimes (maybe when adding or deleting MIDI devices?) and this has caused my X-touch to lose connectivity for seemingly no reason (until I figured out why).

I just used my X-touch last night and a lot over the last week.  No issues.  As has been mentioned before, make sure the check boxes in Sonar are checked for the X-touch and that is is set for Mackie Control.

Yes Cakewalk snuck inside your X touch and disabled it

also, make sure the X-Touch is powered on before starting Sonar. I have powered it on after starting Sonar and had it not show up.
