I have completely uninstalled MB3 from my system as of today.  It is just painful. It freezes way too much and takes about 6 or 7 freezes and attempts and reboots even to create one simple session that actually works.  I know I said it seemd to settle down before and it was working Ok for a while but not now.  It does not like my RME sound card either.  It is not RME's fault either.  Everything else runs like a dream on my current system.

Be careful about buying this right now. I don't think they do refunds either so beware.

It is not ready and I mean not ready. They need to do some serious fixes on this before I would even consider it again.

I actually tried my 32 bit machine and tried to run MB2 inside that and it was also very unstable and just painful as well.  I have removed that from that computer as well.

I'm having better luck than Jeff, but it has some issues that's for sure. I'm just going to do all of the heavy lifting in Sonar for now...the mixing section in MB3 seems to be working just fine here.

I didn't install it, after downloading it. "Stalled and waiting for the tow truck", eh? $40 on hold while we see what they do about it. Maybe someday......
At least I didn't join their Plugged In membership....LOL

Based on what I read we all should just build a linux machine for this product (for the time being).

Hmmm, I'd have to become more of "a computer guy", and I'd rather get better at the musical aspects and then the tracking/mixing/producing patts.
Where were you reading this stuff, Ed?

Mixbus forum.

It seems that the Linux users are having no troubles. Take that with a grain of salt.

Thanks. I should've guessed, but the neighbor's cat woke me up in the middle of the night and I'm not sure the coffee is working! LOL
I don't know anyone using Linnux, so it always seems so "Shangri La", to me. Oh well.

I don't use Linux for music but I have built a few Linux boxes in my time.

Linux users have a different "trouble" threshold ;-)

I'm not having as many problems as a lot of windows users. Most plugins work fine (Nectar 2, EZ Keys will not), it's mostly several little bugs here. I record, edit and mix in Sonar anyway...I like to import those to Mixbus 2.5 and 3 and mix them there and then compare and choose the best one. I typically stick with my Sonar mix, but it's fun to have toys.
