I have been using these for a while now and love them but they are rarely mentioned around here. These are the best meters I've used so far, and I love their customization options. GREAT STUFF!

Serious question: What do Waves' Dorrough meters have that Klanghelm's VUMT meters (http://www.klanghelm.com/VUMT.php) don't that is worth paying $200 vs. $10?

Great question!

I have the Klanghelm meters. Maybe its my eyes, but I find the needles a bit difficult to work with when comparing across two meters. For example, I have a meter before a plug and another after, and I want to level match the plug using the meters. Those two bouncing needles - even with a longer hold time, are a pain to me. The Dorrough meters are large, fast, and bright. It really is easier to see what's going on in the music - especially when just glancing across multiple meters at the same time. You can make the horizontal or vertical, and you can resize them - which is great.

Download the demo and use them for an hour or two. You'll either be convinced they are better - or you'll decide you don't need them; I don't think you'll be undecided. :)

I don't know that I'd pay $200 for meters - I think I got them around $99 on a sale and am very happy that I bought them. If only you could integrate them in Sonar in place of the console view meters... :)

I hope the "small stones" you're a fan of aren't in your kidney.

Small Stone phaser pedal for guitar. I've got a 1st edition - and baby nothing in the world comes close as far as I'm concerned. :)
