  • *Solved, well sort of* Rapture Pro - Some sounds not working

Going through some of the Rapture Pro sounds and some don't seem to work. I've reinstalled all of Rapture Pro from the Command Center and some sounds are still missing, for example, Lucid Dreams 1 and Lucid Dreams 2 from the Rapture Pro Factory Library - Atmospheric section. There are many others. The Elements buttons are lit, but no sound even from the built-in keyboard at the bottom of Rapture. I've held the notes down for a while in case they had a long attack, but still nothing. The same ones don't work on Rapture Session either. Any ideas?

I've also tried loading the voice from the prog file and that didn't work. I was able to open the prog file in Notepad and it looks like there is data in it. Also checked the disk to see if there were any issues, but none found.

More clues:
When I try to reinstall Rapture Pro Legacy Content Pack Vol 1, Vol 2, Vol 3, Gibson Content Pack Vol 4, etc... I get a message saying "Your installation of Legacy Content Pack Vol 2 did not complete. Click here to continue." What's up with that?

Fixed it:
Went into Cakewalk - My Products and found Rapture Pro. Clicking on that I got another list called Connected Products and under that was Rapture Pro (for Windows) and under that was Atmospheric. I downloaded and installed that (1.8GB) and that fixed the problem. Somehow I was missing those multisamples.

Update:
Still finding some voices with missing multisamples, but not as many as before.

Choose "Enable Logging" on the "Options" menu in Rapture Pro. It will log details of samples that fail to load. This might provide a clue as to why they are failing.

Note that the log file is created in the folder "C:\Cakewalk Content\Rapture Pro\Logs"

It does act like samples are missing. The logs will confirm if that is the case.

On the occasions when I had a problem running installers from the Command Center, I would go to my account, manually download the file(s) to the Command Center download path then run the Command Center. Also check your disk space.

Thanks for the suggestions. I posted the fix above.
