Well, here is an older song I did back in 2009 called "Cast The First Stone". All guitars are played by myself and the background are loops and samples using Cakewalk Kinetic 2. I mastered this in Sony Sound Forge Pro 9 using Izotope Ozone 5. I hope you like this new mix as the old one was quite  muddy and had lost a lot of its zip. All comments are always welcomed. Hope you will enjoy.

Dude Ivey
I love the guitar tone and your playing! I can never seem to get a good clean guitar tone that i like. I dont know if its reverb or chorus but it sounds good! Now if i can nitpick a little, for my taste, the whole track sounds like you hit it a little hard with the compressor. I hate to criticize someone's work because i know what goes into it but sometimes i wish someone would tell me what they dont like about my mix instead of what they do like.  So, since the whole track sounds compressed a little too much I'd have to assume it was in the mastering of the song. Also it's a nice loud mix!

Dude Ivey, Thanks for listening and for your comments and the compliment, they are appreciated very much. Yes, I did hit this with compression, but the last thing I always do is hit it with a limiter. Also, the stereo imaginer may be playing a roll in this wide spread mix. I don't have the original tracks to this one any more, but may still be able to fine tune this a bit, when I can find some time. I always expect people will adjust their volume settings on their computer and on the player to get the listening part to their liking, as we all have different levels we enjoy listening to our music at. I try to upload the loudest version and then it's up to the listener. Glad you enjoyed this piece.
