you might as well post a melda update thing every 2-3 weeks hehe.. from what I've noticed of late :)

I've given up trying to keep current with Melda revisions. I'm still running an ancient version from weeks ago.

I try to do it every 10th time. Which is still pretty often.

I, for one, wish cakewalk were as eager and enthusiastic about updating and improving their software as melda are. they always reach for the highest level of control and detail possible with incredibly clever and modern design. meanwhile cakewalk are content with having bits and pieces remaining in the program that haven't even worked for so long that they may as well be considered vestigial.

I dislike what melda have done with this (or previous?) release, where they've started dropping shared dll's in the Windows directory - that's *really* had practice and I hope they amend that (I won't be updating until they do so).

I guess you haven't heard about the CW monthly updates. More to the point what is it that isn't working in Sonar? Have you sent a problem report to CW about the non working "bits and pieces"? 

I'll just take the easy way out, because it's the morning, and point towards the mfx chord analyzer. Pretty sure they've known about that one for a while
 
Then again, if it worked, maybe I wouldn't have ended up learning theory.

Putting the common runtime into the Windows directory may be a lazy cheat, but hardly a reason not to update.

Is updating as simple as running the latest installer and overwriting - or should previous versions be uninstalled first?
