Who's going to upgrade immediately
Anybody care to comment on the lower latency that Win 10 claims to provide.

I'm not going to do anything to slow down the update. It'll come when it comes. Will there be issues? Sure. If I wait for 11 months, will there still be issues? Sure. If I wait more than 12 months? No longer free.
 
So I'm going to cry now.

I'll delay it for awhile (I run Windows Update manually to avoid background overhead while doing audio stuff) because Focusrite has yet to pronounce the Saffire Pro40 driver as safe for Win10. I also have some other critical software that I can't live without, such as a 3rd party VM that I run XP in. I'll most likely update my laptop first and see how that goes.

Been running it for quite  while now and have to say it is immensely stable
and very well done.  Pretty impressive all things considered...

Nothing. That's what I've seen so far. I have 3 machines that I signed up for the update, all have now lost the win update icon and none of them shows any signs of win 10 or the update. What a let down.

I was not part of the preview testing group, but had the Win10 files d/l'd and have upgraded. Took a little over an hour. I started mine manually via Windows Update. Try that.

So far so good

In my understanding the improvement in latency only applies to non- asio drivers. Has anyone heard differently?

i will wait.  the initial release of new win OS is always rough around the edges.  i may install on a test computer

I won't install it soon. It has already told me that my Paragon backup and recovery won't work with it. I'll wait until Paragon fixes that. I'm sure there will be other issues that come up for a while.
