My Apologies Robby, I've had some technical problems lately with these monitor speakers and short I recently fixed and I was flat out wrong about your mix, and a few others also. I apologize.

It sounds great to me now!! I'm sorry man. :-(

Sweet version. Your vocals seem to get better with age, like a good chardonnay.

I think you need something in the middle beside the vocals. Felt a bit too wide.

This kind of track shows what an accomplished musician/singer you really are, and that's very accomplished to my ears.

I'm not very receptive to this kind of music to be honest, but i can definintely appreciate what a great job you've done with this track.

The mix sounds really intimate and live, which is just perfect for this type of track.

Nice work all-round Robby.

Great ol' sad song... very nice... Love the sound of all the strings..
Vocals are excellent as always... Well done Robby...
Thanks Frank :-) Wood and steel? That's what it all goes back to if you go back a few years? Well, maybe some horse hair and cat guts too?

Not sure if this has been remixed but man o man it sure sounds sweet. You got the gear and certainly the skills. Wonderful piece here

Last time I had a Wonderful piece? Well... Let's just say "its been awhile."

Thanks Grant :-) It's somewhat rare for me to poop one out like this? Explosive songariah? Where you just can't control it? You get home, and you are "literally" running for the studio? And when you reach the console, and have the pre-amps powered up? It's like Ahhhhh, thank GOD! This is one of the most satisfying recording sessions in memory! I feel SO much better having gotten that out!

I'm planning a more epic vocal piece, and working on a few colabs (as you know ;-) Haven't forgotten about ours. The boy comes every other week for some time, and when that happens it's a full on stop in the studio? And then there's "life?" Life sucks, I wish I didn't have to do it... It takes so much time? And I have a few in the oven with my favorite collaborator, Mr. no999! I'm sorry, but he's just dreamy :-)

And I'm going to follow one of my new year's resolutions and start doing more grass? More music in this vein too...

One can never go wrong with grass . Not a fan or the music, but it sounded pretty good here. As always an outstanding performance.
