It is funny to me (at least) while I was perusing the Yahoo news headlines and saw this picture in a headline. Caused a double-take. At first glance I thought it was some conservative business type until I read the headline. Don't get me wrong,  I like Mr. Townshend. I just never saw him in a picture all dressed up in conservative, formal attire like this. He could be the head of some Wall-Street firm all gussied up like that.

Why the surprise? Townshend used to be a mod and sharp Italian and Saville Row suits were very much their thing.

Townshend's politics are moderate left(ish) in UK/European terms so probably off-the-scale left by US standards :-)
