Kenny, That was just awesome and a great sound coming out of that Les Paul. Fantastic finger work. You should have won something just for the length of working those fingers so hard. Great playing and a nice sound. Enjoyed the video as well.

Peace be with you, Blessings, John

Hi John,

thank you very much for the super kind words  I appreciate them .

:-)

Sounds great Kenny.

I've spent the past week playing along to Hal Leonard Jazz Master CDs and I was thinking of how much I could use a teacher like you to point me in the direction to more sophisticated understanding and playing.

It is a real pleasure to see you rocking it out today.

Thanks for sharing!

best regards,

Great tone! I notice you starting out on the Rhythm pickup, switching to both, then switching to Treble. There's nothing like a Gibson Les Paul lead pickup for soaring out over the rest of the band, and it works here.

How do you like the blend early on? I love the dense sound of a Gibson Rhythm pickup for lead guitar, but I have to admit the historic tracks I listen to for that sound are often 3-piece, or otherwise lack competition in those frequency bands. I did appreciate the difference when you got to Treble pickup about halfway through.

Hi Mike ,

that is good that you are playing along w material that is challenging . It is always a good move to stay teachable .

In my case , it has been a while since I wore the music teachers hat ....

it seems , the more I play ..the less I really know .

a much better guitar player than me once said " practice what you must , play what you love.."

I'm real happy you dug my playing on the clip .

all the best ,

Kenny

Hi Wookiee

who knows,
it is entirely posible that we are cousins   that's what The Ancient Astronaut Theorists would probably speculate as a possible probability

thank you for giving this a listen , I appreciate that you liked it
