someone made a point in the comments and everyone jumped on him...
the way this """technology""" of """listening to a tree"""" works is that the data is run thru a camera into a synth interpreter. the problem here is that the 'musician' is allowed to set WHATEVER Scale they want. so it's not really hearing the tree the way it was meant to be heard.
