I would vary the velocities here and there if you want a more convincing "real" bass.
You see - we all have something to learn! ;-)

Yeah, I can hear RickNoHow doing something like this.  I sure wonder where he is!  John, this is really an interesting thought translated into interesting music.  I liked the bass.  I liked the whole concept and performance.

Cool jam, reminds me a bit of "A Girl Like You" by Edwyn Collins.  Sounds really good and enjoyed listening.   I like the little sound effects you have added throughout, nice touch...

Thanks a lot for listening Mark. I can see where it reminds you of that song ;-)
It's actually based on a bass lick in a song by EST (a jazz trio) - but as is usual - these songs start with an idea like that, and then grow into something completely unrecognisable. ;-)
