I too have not upgraded.  I am trying to justify the cost vs. what I do, but I am coming up with blanks.  I guess it could be worth it just for the few upgraded features plus the ADpacks for AD2, but I don't really need those either.

Something hopefully will come along that says, "Ah ha! I must have that!"

I feel like I got my (annual) moneys worth right out of the gate with the AD Producer Pak, mix recall and the new control bar. I haven't really felt a need for any of the offerings since. It will take something compelling for me to upgrade again when my one year membership is up. I have no regrets upgrading to Platinum this go round.

I don't think I'll downgrade, just delay the next payment. I haven't downloaded any of the bundled stuff, except for the small room reverbs for the ReMatrix. The enhancements seem part of of a features development, so jump back on later means we should see these with later updates. The fixes are accumulative, so I'll see these too. The wait for a the main feature that's been touted, Drum Replacer, has shown me that you can wait a few months and offset this saving against early offers.

To make me purchase in January again would need some tasty additions and development at that point.

bitflipper and Jaymes are still on 8.x.

Shows there is no reason to blindly upgrade (like the rest of us lemmings).

If his sig is correct, Batsbrew is still using Sonar 6. Just shows what can be achieved.

We'll see at renewal time.  So far, I am satisfied with the updates; they seem to mostly be stabilization enhancements.  I'm hoping that they do more with editing and mastering features in the future.

I'm still on Producer v4...

(But I'll upgrade if someone wants to send me a kick-butt DAW machine to put the upgrade on!  )

Up to X3 I've always thought that Producer edition was easily worth the extra. This time I haven't upgraded at all as I've yet to see anything that makes me think I want it... I really want to want it, but I just don't.

I went from Home Studio 6 to X3 Studio and then rather quickly to X3 Producer. And like Paulo haven't seen anything since that makes me want to divert my music money in that direction. Folks have said SPlat is much more stable, but I haven't had any stability issues in X3. AD means nothing to me, as I typically record bluegrass or acoustic folk (no drums in those genres). Synths are the same story. For folks that use this stuff, it might be worthwhile, but not for me.

As I said earlier, I have a limited amount of funding for my music hobby. At this point I would rather put that limited funding into something more musical than a DAW.

I still have 8.5 on my daw, and still make 8.5 moves with my mouse. Like bounce to clips used to be on the edit menu I think or my right arm muscles think anyway.

I could go back in a pinch but I like the console emulator.

i was going to upgrade from 8.5 but the only feature i really wanted was some voice correction(V-Vocal?)and decided instead to only record singers who are confident they can sing in tune,to their satisfaction.
too easy
cheers
