I'm torn...
 
I was considering upgrading to SPAN Plus, so that I could analyse separate tracks at the same time, but it looks like MMultiAnalyzer does a better job and it looks easier setting up for that too.
 
But is there something I am missing?

I'm thinking that the former may do much more than the latter, looking at their video. I suppose the question is, would I use all that stuff...

MMulti is a good tool...but so is Span...
I guess it all depends on the "what"...

Both are good, but head-to-head there is no contest: MMultiAnalyzer wins easily.

It isn't that expensive, but I might as well wait until it comes on sale. Unless I've missed it of course...

SPAN Plus offers a correlation meter (which Melda does not) but melda offers a sonogram view and more importantly Collisions view, which in theory should help you find potential mix problems. Also cool is the "Deharmonize" mode, which allows you to get rid of harmonics and focus on the fundamental frequencies of your sources. 
 
It looks like SPAN plus limits you to viewing only 4 spectrums at once (source plus 3 inputs) where it seems MMultiAnalayzer lets you easily see all available analyzers and select how many, or how few, you want to see - there seems to be no limit.

I've got SPAN, and I've been using it... Lots. So I can use that for the correlation meter (although I'm still not entirely sure what it is telling me).
 
I guess I can use MMA, when I get it, along side SPAN.
