basically been getting back into recording music.

Well, that was a catchy little tune, but IMO you need to bring the drums up into the mix or set the guitar back a bit so the drums can be heard more clearly. The guitar was very loud, but some interesting playing going on and it was very harmonic to the ear. Nice jam for a test. Very nice.

yeh ive had difficulty getting the drums to sit right, they either seem too loud or too quiet, but ill try bringing the main guitar down and see if that helps bring the drums out.

I like this - very catchy tune - very nice playing. The mix does need work though.

Very nice guitar playing. I agree about the drums, it sounds like there's a lot of reverb on the drums (i may be wrong) but if you have reverb on the whole kit take it off everything but the snare and see how that sounds.
